A collection of ideas that will help you do kindness every day of your life.
Ever notice how when you’re little, and your mom asks you to point to what hurts, you never hesitate? You show her the scrape, bruise, or scar; your booboo. There’s no hesitation to show her your knee or elbow. No hesitation on how you fell or what happened.
But what about when you grow up? Nobody asks you what hurts anymore. And if they did, we’d all be hesitant to be honest and begin pointing to our hearts. There would be no question that the story behind it, would rarely be told, because it is so deep down in our hearts.
Buried with our own fear of what people will think of or booboo’s.
Yet little do we realize, a hug, a smile, or even a random act of kindness could be the bandaid they’ve been waiting for.
What’s holding you back from doing a random act of kindness?
Found this in a thing at my local Barnes & Nobles! Didn’t buy the item it was hidden in, but I left the note in and put it back on the shelf. It’s cute.
If you can’t tell, it reads:
“Happy New Year! Hope 2012 brings you blessings and tidings of great joy! :)
- Random Act of Kindness”
I was walking down the street towards the cafe to study this morning, when a guy walking past me said “Hey! Smile?” So I did, and he said “You’re so beautiful! Always keep smiling, no matter what!!”
Day = Made :D
So I have never been a lucky person of this till yesterday. I was trying to print something for class and I did not have enough money to get the right number of copies I need. Well normal I stay very calm and find a way to work it out but I had such a long weekend that I was just over whelmed and I think it showed. Well this girl sow that I was having a long week and asked if I wanted her to print what I need. I was so thankful and if I know who you were girl I would repay you but now the only way to show my thanks I will continue my thanks by doing something nice for someone else. Thanks!
