Found this in a thing at my local Barnes & Nobles! Didn’t buy the item it was hidden in, but I left the note in and put it back on the shelf. It’s cute.
If you can’t tell, it reads:
“Happy New Year! Hope 2012 brings you blessings and tidings of great joy! :)
- Random Act of Kindness”
I was walking down the street towards the cafe to study this morning, when a guy walking past me said “Hey! Smile?” So I did, and he said “You’re so beautiful! Always keep smiling, no matter what!!”
Day = Made :D
So I have never been a lucky person of this till yesterday. I was trying to print something for class and I did not have enough money to get the right number of copies I need. Well normal I stay very calm and find a way to work it out but I had such a long weekend that I was just over whelmed and I think it showed. Well this girl sow that I was having a long week and asked if I wanted her to print what I need. I was so thankful and if I know who you were girl I would repay you but now the only way to show my thanks I will continue my thanks by doing something nice for someone else. Thanks!
So this absolutely made my day!! Especially when I was feeling a little down too… This woman and her two adorable little girls came in to the burrito place I work at and I made their food. Then the woman came back to order desserts but there was a man in line before them so while he paid, she went to the washroom. He then hands me money to pay for the woman’s order and leaves!!! The woman came out to this surprise and said it made her day!! Then, just as they’re leaving, the one little girl comes up to me and hands me this drawing! ^^^ I almost wanted to cry because that made MY day too, and I probably looked crazy to the next few customers because of how much I smiled! Me and my co-worker then proceeded to pin it up on the bulletin board in the back, heehee! This just goes to show that random acts of kindness can make anyone’s day, and affects everyone around them! I’m still smiling about it!
Yesterday we had an important test in math and this one girl had forgot her calculator and the teacher was rude and didn’t give her a spare one so I felt really bad and gave her mine because I was done with my equations and I thought nothing of it and then today she came up to me and gave me a box of chocolates and said thanks and happy Easter!
